cover for mounting purposes. Two rectangular boxed Registration handstamps on
reverse. Nice use of the Eucharistic Congress issue. One stamp (most likely
2c from possible strip of three) missing from top right corner. Faults
expected. |

tied with Indistinct town (20 November 1941) Circular Date Stamp. Roughly
opened on top and horizontal fold across top part of both stamps (but
intact). Purple Not Opened by Censor rectangular handstamp on front. Passed
by Censor tape on left and corresponding triangular Passed by Censor
handstamp on front and reverse. Couple of very interesting boxed handstamps
on reverse (one requesting return address on future letters). Victoria, Hongkong (29 November 1941) Transit Date Stamp on
reverse. A great censor cover to a very scarce destination. Fantastic show
piece where faults add to the overall beauty of this well-travelled cover. |

Postal. Very fine with lovely overall appearance, with tiny paper abrasion on
the back which is mentioned for accuracy. Very rare and seldom offered. A
renowned auction house from Spain is currently offering such a card at 2,200
Euros. These cards have, based on results from previous sales, regularly
fetched four-figure sums. The estimate in a previous HR Harmer auction for a
comparable card was between $3,000 and $4,000. Without a doubt, this is the
gem of Spanish Philippine postal cards collections. |

stamps (Scott 165, 170) on reverse (not tied). Major wear and tear along
edges and some small faults throughout. Central horizontal and vertical
filing folds. Despite faults, a fantastic document and a true show piece. |
