Pre-Stamped
Envelopes & Wrappers United
States Occupation
This Reference site provides a detailed
listing of Philippine US Occupation Pre-Stamped Envelopes and Wrappers. Although
a new numbering system has been established based on the catalogue numbering
system used by Scott, it attempts to simplify the listing of each envelope or
wrapper type. Additionally, cross referencing to the numbering system currently
used by the United Postal Stationery Society (UPSS) is provided. The primary focus is based on grouping
issues by paper type and envelope colour of each issue, followed by the Knife
and Watermark types where multiple printings exist. This will help in
identifying the envelopes where multiple printings have occurred, previously
causing some confusion with collectors. Pictures, where available, have been
added for easier comparison and cross referencing. A total of eight sections have been
produced for the Pre-Stamped Envelopes and one section for Wrappers, as
follows: · Scott U1 to
Scott U16 (UPSS-1 to UPSS-24) - Plimpton Printed Envelopes · Scott U17 to
Scott U29 (UPSS-25 to UPSS-42) - Hartford Printed Envelopes · Scott U30 to
Scott U34 (UPSS-43 to UPSS-80) - 2c Jose Rizal Envelopes · Scott U35 to
Scott U39 (UPSS-81 to UPSS-103) - 4c William McKinley Envelopes · Scott U40 (UPSS-104)
- 2c Jose Rizal Second Issue Envelopes · Scott U41 to
U42 (UPSS-105 to UPSS-112) - 2c and 4c Juan de la Cruz Envelopes · Scott U42A to

Scott W4 (UPSS-W1 to UPSS-W6) - Wrappers We hope the
site acts as a good reference for collectors to use to improve their
collections or for further research initiatives. I would like to personally
thank Christian Preusse for his encouragement and ongoing support with development
of this site. If you have
any additional information or envelopes or wrappers that are not listed on
the site, please inform us so we can keep update the site to keep it as
accurate as possible. As always, feedback is very much welcome. Nigel
